Monochrome Checks

Hey guys,

Happy Thursday! How is your week going so far? Today I’m sharing a look I wore a few weeks ago when, despite the gloomy weather, it was technically still Summer. I actually wore it out for lunch with two of my sisters. Wearing a crop top always seems like a good idea when I’m getting dressed, but after I’ve polished off a mammoth meal I always ask myself ‘what the hell were you thinking?

’ I do love this look though. It’s so simple, chic and super cosy. I got this check shirt in Primark in London a few years ago and recently rediscovered it in the depths of my wardrobe. It’s definitely coming with me to NY this month and Penneys/Primark actually have a similar one in stores now. It just shows you that having a good wardrobe clear out definitely pays off.

Of course I made sure to include a pop of colour in my look and what better way to do that than with this Michael Kors beauty.
